Hey, I'm Dan.

I'm the writer/director of the animated science fiction feature Grey Island and a creator of short story comics.

I'm currently writing my next big project, the fantasy graphic novel Soul of the World, and working as a freelance illustrator from my studio in Pittsburgh. I recently released my 65-minute avant-garde animated feature, Grey Island, online. The film has seen some financial success as well as critical praise.

Previously, I directed and animated the music video for hip hop artist Mr.O2Tha's "Ill-Informed," featuring Sir Michael Rocks and Nick Lewis, and co-directed and animated the 3D short film Pluto.

I've been creating original works as a freelance artist for years, and I've lent my unique perspective to many commercial projects as a director, animator, illustrator, and designer. I've animated for everyone from multi-national corporations such as Google to local small business in Pittsburgh including: animation studios; video production, marketing, and design companies; music artists and producers; tech startups all over the U.S.

I studied animation at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where I received a B.F.A. in Applied Media Arts.
